Shodog's RC4WD Trailfinder 2 build

I got this kit a few weeks ago. The build was straightforward and took just a few hours. A lot of the tedious stuff like the axles and transmission was already built.

The Mojave body is very similar to a Tamiya Hilux and it allows for lighting, So I wanted to use one of Tamiya's Multi function units. Installing one in a high lift is a breeze but in this truck everything had to be custom. I made a small speaker enclose with a small tupperware container and a piece of fiberglass. I also had to fab a small mount for the MFU Unit.

The body has kinda stalled out. Tamiya spray paints are scarce and I have been finding a can here and there. So far I have glued in the back panel of the cab and filled in the crack with body filler. it's ready for priming.
