nice scan! cant wait to see yours built!
that brings back memories and encouraged me to look for whatever parts i could dig up of mine.

funny though, i don't remember melting this brace, somehow could the tranny have gotten so hot that it burned the underside of the body mount? yikes!!!

i hated my andy's MT kit!! it was so slow that it didnt last that long on my RC10 before i turned it back into a buggy. which is probably the reason why my body is one of the only things i really have from bitd that is actually in good condition   . barely any road rash, and for me thats rare!
apparently, i didnt know how to use a scissor either

Exacly my logic for building a shelf worthy one as a homage to 1989. Mine came with that same Comanche body unpainted. I'm wondering if it is possible to track down Mr. Jacobson for a custom job. Wish me luck.

This one came painted, if you need hi res photos I can take them for you.
From looking at your instructions though, I don't remember mine coming with any arms. Gotta tear apart my folks basement again to see if I can find more parts. I think I seen the wheels and adapters somewhere.

Do only the painted andys body's come with the signature on the front fender? I recently bought a lot that included the full andys kit with instructions and a nicely painted body. The signature is in black in the exact same spot as the one above? Does this make it a prepainted body or did the clear ones have this as well (shown sitting on my clod but no xtra holes) Also the trim job is perfect did they also come pre-trimmed?
