Hey guys, so I just got my Yokomo 834B out of a box in the garage after many many year of sitting. The motor is shot and I'm looking for a good suggestion on a replacement. I don't need a racing motor, just a decent motor. Also wheels/tires to use. I've seen a bunch of posts on different things to use but I don't seem to find the parts listed anymore on any sites. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. Oh yeah and a decent battery.

Thanks!
Chris

The RPS manual is up on http://www.oople.com/rc/manuals/yz834b/ if that's at all useful. That last page is a parts list.

A 17-19 turn brushed motor would go well in it. A good balance between speed and taking it easy on the 20+ year old gears. The wheels are roughly 1.7 which are similar to RC10 so finding some will take patience. I've seen some CRP spike tires recently on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Assoc-RC10-Goldtub-CRP-Rear-Knobby-1-75-Tire-Dynamite-Tamiya-Vintage-RC-Part-/230766294053?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35babe3425#ht_588wt_952
