Hello all,
I picked this up today at work (hobby shop)
The previous owner dyed some white things black...
I will be restoring this thing slowly but surely, and if you ask me, it isn't in too bad of shape!
The transmission is smooth, which is good, saves me about 10 hours
Need to remove rust, rebuild shocks, clean the dirt, and clean the beautiful chassis.
What do you recommend to remove rust and to clean the graphite?
Is there supposed to be a substantial amount of play in the transmission out drives? I will have to put bearings all around... now i need to go on a size hunt :?
What is a good steering rack upgrade? the stock one is... squeaky :D

Welcome.
Here is what I did to one of my projects. The black parts on your car should be cleaned and re-dyed in boiling black dye. They will look much better. Other than that just, just some simple green and elbow grease.
