Thanks to Mr. Chad Martin, my four year search is over. There are others that I like the look of better, but with Tecnacrafts beggers can't be choosers.... I gues one could always resort to B&E at shodogs house, but watch out for the killer Wiener Dog. These are SUPERB!!!!! Nothing more to say.
Not for an RC10, but for Kyosho, but with a few mods, they should fit right up. I LOVE 'EM!

Welcome to the Tecnacraft club buddy

They look sweet!
What mods are you going to do to yours to make them fit?
I have two sets of Optima wheels and I would need to drill the centres and make hex nut adaptors to fit them

Is that allowed with Tecnacraft wheels?

not all of them were made with gold anno. actually your better off without any because it give you the option of using some of tamiya's new clear paint to make them a color you like.

Ed, I was going to do that same thing, just take a hex adaptor and have a slot for the dog bone milled into it. Everything else should be easy.
Jim, If I could choose, I would prefer the set similar to your recently painted red set. I like those inners better than anything else.

I used a lathe to polish these. Are they too shiny for you?

Honestly I don't car that much for the four spoke.
if your wheels were like for like, I'd trade in a heartbeat.

OUCH!! Let me put on my shades.

Ah, much better. Maybe a bit too shiney for my personal taste, I kinda like the semi-polished look better on most aluminum myself. The problem I have is when people shine the snot out of aluminum with anything motorized and end up rounding the edges on an otherwise sharp piece of aluminum. Looks like you managed not to do that, and your wheels turned out awesome. Just my taste. Your wheels show that in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing, a mirror polish is possible, without rounding (ruining imho) the aluminum. Very nice work.
