I've never seen another set like them either. They go great with the Proline road hawgs. Tecnacraft made quite a few different applications. I'd love to find a set for my Yokomo yz834. I've never seen outside of a brochure.

I recently picked up another ascot sprint car.

I really wanted it for the wheels. Even though my car has a set of Tecnacrafts I've always wanted a set of these wheels with the fat Grand Prix tires. It will free up these tecnas for another build. I've also got another set of the Dhawk aluminum parts and transmission case on order to help bling out this build. In the end the rest will get sold off.

Do you have the car in hand yet? If not you might wanna hold off on ordering the DHawk parts since you may have the Traxxas Ascot conversion.

Pretty sweet if you do. Haven't seen one yet personally outside the ad. :)

I do have the car in hand. The chassis looks like the rc10 version as not all the bolts are in the traxxas tranny and the front suspension is all rc10. The Dhawk parts will be for the sprint car in the previous page. This one, sans wheels will get re-sold off.

Ahhh too bad. Was thinking maybe the trans was correct and the front arms could've been mounted to a Traxxas front bulkhead.

That's a one piece chassis or is the nose separate?

Looks great. I have an Ascot in pieces in a box somewhere. Seeing your car inspires me to build it up for display.
Very nice indeed!

Getting all my parts organized for my Ascot sprint car overhaul. I’ve been saving up parts over the last few years. A vintage JG chassis. Dhawk aluminum parts to replace most of the plastic. I plan to take all the thorp 48 pitch gears, jammin jay diff tube and aluminum bearing carriers from another Dhawk transmission and put them in this Rogue Element transmission case with a Composite Craft motor plate. The last parts I got were the Ken Finnley aluminum front shock tower and transmission brace.

How well do the composite motor plates handle taking trans screws in and out constantly??
