Looks like a Bosscat nitro 4x4 to me. Quite a rare critter actually, i've not seen too many of them.

Paul.

Yup, that'll be a Nitro 4x4. Pretty much Bosscat running gear with an alloy lower chassis, carbon fibre upper chassis plate, and Irvine 2.5cc motor taken from the Nitro 10 range.

I have one, although it's not finished.... closest I have to an instruction manual, though, is an exploded diagram.

These are even rarer than Schumacher Daytonas.... possibly the US$800+ price tag back in the day had something to do with it!!!

Great find..... I'll be watching your rebuild with interest.

That car looks like the ideal candidate for Before/After resto pics! 8)

If you're interested in seeing what they look like under all that muck... take a look at mine here:http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=46476&sid=154. Ignore the tyres, why you would put 2wd front truck tyres all round on a 4wd truck is beyond me....

Just FYI too, Schumacher has a few select parts still available, just shoot them an e-mail and they are usually very helpful.

and just in case, I have the nitro version cougar for sale nib, I suspect there's a significant amount of parts that can be toggled between both versions, although obviously not the suspension and front transmission... check my sig to take a look at it ;)

The chassis was available as a stadium truck, buggy (1:8 4wd legal), as well as a Celica GT4... none had wheels that small, though, from memory!!!
