My new runner

About a year ago we lost our closest and largest indoor off road track, The Asylum. After the track closed we (all of us Florida vintage racers) boxed up the vintage stuff and just focused on the modern cars. We now have a new indoor off road track about to open so we figured maybe we would break out the vintage rides again. Seth (seth556) recently posted pictures of the work he has done with his, so I figured I'd post pictures of my new ride. I've got the electronics waiting to go in so I just need to order the slipper and I'm race ready.

Very nice. I'm loving the white chassis and body with the black arms. Are those Losi big bore shocks?

The shocks are Team C. They are left over from my TQ racing days. They are actually very good shocks. Orange mentioned the spacing needed for big springs on his build. The spacing is definitely more than original but not outside acceptable limits.

There's no doubt about it Jeff, you certainly build absolutely top notch cars sir. Seriously i cant remember ever seeing anyone anywhere build to the standards that you do. Truly an inspiration to me. Thanks for taking the time to share this and your others with us.
-Oh and i really did the while pan!

It's always humbling when someone else's "runner" looks better than my shelfers... nice job!

Are the white parts painted or powdercoated?

Thanks guys. I'll throw the electronics in it this week and try to post a couple pics of the final product.

The new track will be in Cocoa just off SR528. There's a thread in the Florida section of rctech.

The body posts are T2 parts.

The white chassis is powder coated. I had it milled by Jake after the powder so the milling would stand out a little more. I also wanted the silver color to accent the chrome nose tubes, CV's and the stainless screws.

This car was built using all new parts. I'm looking forward to getting it dirty. My last car was pretty well worn so this was a much needed replacement.
