Nice truck.
That 5 port TZ was an wicked light switch of a motor, no torque on the bottom but man would it sing on the top

Thanks guys! Yeah I don't know to much about that era, most of my collection was based on working the LHS in early to mid 90's. I had to do research. I found that this was the hot motor back then comparing to say old CZR was rated at .43hp and CZ12Z .63hp and this thing puts out 1.62hp.

those TZ's put out like .60 until they got over 36,000 then they jumped to full wood
We ran some 3 port Novarossi's that put out 1.75-2.0 at 46,000-49,000rpm, but they were a nice linear power all the way through....anyway great truck, that motor just brought up some old memories.

The only issues the locals had with this truck was the steering would pop out from under the brace. There were alot of 'thru bolted' steering assy. around here

. A few would strip out idler gears...I think it was idler gear anyway so they went to some highdollar alloy idler. Other than that they were a good competition to the nitro hawks and rc10gt on the oval. I'm likin the paint on yours...but man that thing it
too clean

As soon as I bought this truck, this came up on Ebay and well I won! and got it cheap!! I figure why not get some spare parts, and I counted 115 NIP! I could almost build a new truck!

Gotto love Ebay sometimes.

Let me know if you need anything!

Looks like you got a nice haul of gold option parts in there. You should mount them on the truck, if they fit.

Thanks, That's why I bidded I saw those hard parts and it was nice to get a bunch stock parts also. If I ever decide to sell the truck the parts pile goes with it. Finally got around to mounting them.
I got 2 set of the rear hubs. One tranny brace. and one front plate. Now if I can only find that hard chassis!

ZX-R? Very nice. Back when I got my cougar (around '94-'95 I guess, the Cougar 2k made its debut just before) I used to drool over the ZX-R and ZX-S in the catalog (if I remember correctly, the R in the catalog was painted yellow while the S was white).
Nice Ultima ST btw
