Hey guys just picked up two of these kits over a month ago. Built one and put the other up for the time being. I was very meticulous when I painted the body making sure the thing looked right when I was done. I had to use stuff called bare metal foil in the light buckets to give the right appearnce. Over all the truck really turned out nice and I love the color I found.

After just cruising around the house I wasn't having much fun so I started doing some real wheeling. After a couple minutes i said what the hell and started beating the piss out of the truck. As you can see from the pics, it has gotten some abuse and i have definately found some weak points with the truck.

The kit driveshafts are awful, I been popping them out of the truck quite a bit. I finally found a way to keep them in the truck and then I started twisting the driveshafts. Currently the front driveshaft is completely screwed so it is missing from the photo of the under carraige. Time for some beefy driveshafts.

I picked up a set of Mud Slinger tires and a 3Racing winch. I still need to get the battery source for the winch to make it operational. I am running a Flysky radio that is hacked for 6 channels. I currently have 4 channels programmed, steering, throttle, hi - low range shifting, and in and out for the winch.

I really like the truck and it is a blast to drive. I have always wanted a Tamiya Bruiser but this truck is much more realistic than the Bruiser. I have been toying with machining a 3 link front suspension and 4 link rear. I have also thought about going a bit different and looking at a 1/4 elliptical rear suspension. Hopefully I can get some wheeling pics soon.

Very cool truck,

I kinda went scaler overboard so i have about 7 trucks now (Not a Trailfinder 2), I will be getting one of the TF2's at some point lol, for now i have to but a roof on the house :(

on a side note, im not sure if you have your truck waterproof but i have been looking into this stuff, we are testing it at work at the moment, this stuff is crazy for repelling water :)
