I bought this back in the early nineties when I was racing the Stinger MKII. The 1st 1/10 3 diff GP buggy, came with plastic diff gears! I upgraded to harden steel, currently rebuilding has Stingers A-arms, Lazer ZXR universal axles, and wheels. I found a tuned pipe to run down the right side ,to get rid of that weird duratrax tune pipe.

Using mock up shocks for now.

Found some 72mm dogbones coming from the U.K for the center drive. Duratrax slide carb.

I'm thinking about powder coating the chassis parts, blue candy.

Thanks, Just getting it ready for powder coating. I thought the shock towers were rather weak looking but I tried to see if I could bend them easily but their pretty strong, I figure some quality alloy aluminum being used here and then they polished up nicely to almost mirror like finish.

Decided to go back to stock as much as possible, reconfigured place battery where tank was, waiting for tank from ebay to finish. As far as I remember Ofna 1st came out with this and I believe it was bought out by Hobby Lobby back in 94.

Got a new pipe for $20. Had to cut the header for a better fit.

Be running 18 toothbell.

Modern Lazer 2.2 wheels.

Maybe the last Cobra to survive that era I never seen another.

Thanks! It was the ugliest buggy body you'll ever see like a fat over weight buggy. I'm thinking maybe find a truck body or something I don't know yet.
