Tamiya #58148 Lola T94/00 Honda (F103-L) Runs and seems very fast. Body paint is flaking off and tires are pretty rough, but the rest seems mint and stock. Any tips for body paint removal?

I would go with the shodog method of Nitro fuel.

since that paint is flaking already, nitro fuel would take it off really easily

The fuel won't make it cloudy but if the paint did it's job in the first place then it will have etched into the p-lastic and once you strip it, it will look cloudy.
I found the higher the nitro content, the better it stripped.

I am getting ready to strip the TMS dually body and the paint is flaking so I don't think clouding will be an issue. Does not matter except for the glass area. I will be painting this body from the outside.

Didn't have any nitro laying around so I decided to try some orange cleaner we use at work, I had great results I think. Plus the house smelled like an orange grove for a day or two.

And only used $2 worth of cleaner. Pics don't really do it justice. But paint is totally gone, body not cloudy or brittle, decals are unharmed. Karnak Karna-Klean.

Karnak Karna-Klean asphalt & tar remover. Should be able to find it at larger home improvement stores. I use it to remove roofing and road tar from my truck and other equipment, along with the occasional ooops on vinyl siding, and haven't damaged my paint or the siding.
