Just got done with this one. Still a few bits to tend to, but what a fun build, and what a quirky car, never did have one as a kid, was too spendy, i was lucky to get a Hotshot though lol.
This is built purely for the shelf, though, id love to pick up a second someday for a runner.

That looks awesome, nice build. Seeing that makes me want one again since I also wanted one back when they were first released. I think I'll have wait a little longer though.

I would love to have a go with an Avante, just to see how the drive. Nice build, sure your not tempoted to run, they do have spares now

Ill get some pics with the top off soon, hate popping off those braces with my fingers, and wont mark them up with plyers lol.

Fakiee, arrgghh, i know, i really do want to, ive got a good few spares for it, shell, try, wing, wheels, full susp plastics etc etc, so if i marked anything, i could put it right i suppose......its torture lol.

I'm really digging the Avante and yours is very nice.

makes me want to restore mine, but mine is a plastic version (2001) not nice than this one

A set of round nose pliers will do the trick leaving no scars

Dennis, thanks bud, ill give them a try, save my sore finger tips lol. ireg, buddy i LOVE the 2001, please do restore it, best time to do so with a lot of parts available now?
