RC10T ball diff rebuild kit?

Hello everyone, this is my first post. I have my old 94' RC10T that I was going to go to the track with tomorrow until I figured out my untouched 17 year old ball diff was dead after a brief meeting with 6.5T brushless. The car just makes ugly slipping sounds and my ball diff won't tighten up anymore. I just upgraded to a B4/T4 top shaft and slipper set up and I'm positive that is not the problem. For now, I guess I can just swap in the one from my B2. I can't seem to find a diff rebuild kit for my Stealth, does anyone offer this? Additionally, this truck will soon have its black tub chassis extended by way of an extra black tub and a TIG welder so I can get all SCT on these plastic trucks at my track. I'll be keeping a third tub around so I can make the truck normal again though. Can I run SC10 wheels out back or would the HPI style hex conversion be my best bet?

Thank you all in advance

Also, would the ball diff in my B2 even be something I can just drop in? Not in the mood to pull it apart for no reason.

So, I guess that means AE never made the ball diff and it was always MIP? That will help me narrow my search. Tomorrow, I'm going to find out if I can rig the SC10 rear hubs to run in my original carriers. If that works, I'm running my spare set of SCT wheels on the truggy tomorrow, followed by a trip to the welding shop to finish the job by adding 1.5" to the tub. Thanks for all the help.

Associated made their own ball diff. That was just the first I found

So, could I use this kit? It has all the 3/32" and thrust balls with seals etc. I know the balls should go, what about the rest? Haven't had that diff apart since I built it 17 years ago.

The TC3 uses the same wear items in the ball diff as the 1st gen stealth, part #3926, http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXPA07&P=7 . All the part numbers seem to match according to the exploded views on rc10.com

EDIT: that kit includes everything except the 3/32 balls in the diff part #6581

the part numbers don't match up, so my best guess would be no.

I was thinking the gt had a different ratio so the diff gear might be different? But the rest should be the same parts. Been a while since I've had an early electric stealth apart to know for sure.

the gt kit "looks" right, but who knows without having it in hand.

i just ordered 2 of those tc3 kits, thanks for the heads up daniels9424cs.

i'm not worried about the diff balls, i've got a sack full of avid ceramics.

So, I figured out what parts I needed by looking at the parts explosions of my RC10t and a couple of other Associated cars to see what they had in common. The only real differences were the diff gear and diff rings. I replaced the diff rings along with the diff and thrust balls including the diff bolt and spring. Thanks for all the help.

I know this is an old post but in doing some research online for diff rings and gears for my RC10T I found through Associated website that the stealth diff uses the same diff rings as the TC3 like mentioned above. Also happens to be the same as the rings used in the TC4 and B44.
