I am planning to have an SRB project soon......but the original front end seems too narrow......and the butterfly chassis is hard to find now...... :(

anyone knows how many cm wider (each side) does the butterfly chassis have when compared with the original ??........

thanks in advance. :)

Measured off of mine: the stock holes (the 4 drilled in the bf chassis) are 45mm apart, the wider ones are 58mm. FYI drilled a third set out at 68 mm (because the chassis frp is 75mm wide) -You can get new tubes from the K&S rack at your lhs and widen it yourself as long as you have a set of (American aftermarket) heavy duty pins. I'm talkin about the four holes that support the shock towers, not the 5th and 6th middle holes that are slightly outward of these for whatever reason. I can get a photo if you think you need it.

I just noticed you are in Hong Kong...so maybe you lhs doesn't carry "K&S" stock. What I'm saying is that those nose tubes are easily fabricated on your own; the hardened steel pins probably not so much. :D
