Whats up RC10ter's,
I Stumbled accross my RC10t2 in a box the otherday and have been destened to get her up and running again. So i thought my first post should be a REBUILD post. so let us begin.

Image

This is the chassi after sandblasting it (its awesom to have built a sandblaster)

Image

This the the chassi after paint (I used Rust-Oleum engine paint Simi Gloss black)

Image

Here are the shocks brand new from Team A and they ar the Pro shocks AKA racing Shocks, I wonder why they dont come in gold anymore. I have a set of the Gold ones but after years of use and abuse they are looking shabby

I have tons more to do on this thing here are a list of things that are sitting right next to it waiting to be put on.

-RPM mini Front bumper
-RPM Front and Rear arms(black)
-RPM Ball Cups
-Team A Blue Hardware
-Team A new Knuckels Ect
This is going to be a slow build but when its done I will be extreemly Happy. I don't mind Constructive Criticism or bad Comments To Each his own so feel free to let me know how im doing.

guess it'll depend on what parts you ordered. main differences are some of the transmission parts, rear bulkhead and shock tower. for the most part, everything else is the same.

OK so after a whole year of laying around I officially am finishing this project up. I will be posting pictures I know I know this is an old thread and another rebuild thread at that. But its exciting to be able to run this thing again.

So here are the parts that I updated and kept.
Motor:
Castle Creation 5700kv sidewinder and speed controller.

Receiver and Transmitter:
spectrum 2.4 nothing special there.

Batt:
Nexus 2c 5200mah

Chassis:
RPM black arms front and rear
T-2 Titanium Lunsford arms.
RPM Front white Bumper
RPM Ball Cups
Rebuilt shocks
new wheels and tires.
Pro-line and j concept.

I am going to run it tonight waiting on the battery to charge.

Pictures will be up I promise I put away the original parts if I ever wanna make this thing a shelf queen but I just wanna run this thing for a while and have fun.

I got done driving this thing. Holy cow it is way over kill but not unmanageable. So far today I have ruined 4 rear tires and rims so Im looking for different tire options that will hold up. any suggestions would be awesome I still have the 1/4 axels . I here that there is a HPI conversion kit would this be beneficial.

I'd suggest switching to CVD's & 3/16 axels so you have better rim and tire options. Tire wise if running on the street get street tires like road rages or an on-road/off-road like say the Gladiators. The gladiators are a bit tall, but I like them on front and rear (I'm running them on my T3)

Ok so I got T-3 rear axels and they work good I am running Pro-line road hawks in the rear and HPI Front lines in the front. I got a T2 body today also so im looking for simple paint schemes examples and suggestions that are really easy to paint I am not the best painter so post some pictures.
