I have 2 that are Yellow and Black, a Tomahawk and the regular scorpion which match so I was thinking of making the set.

All 3 the same paint scheme.

Not sure though, the body is new clean and car is amazing looking so I don't really know. Will put the wheels on it and then post the finished product.

I would be tempted to leave it like it is, but that is me. Sweet looking car and welcome to the board.

Very nice. I like it. How well does potmetal polish up? I wish I had one of those cars. They are classics.

Hello Franko,
Very nice looking Turbo Scorpion you have there (I posted some pics up recently of my Scorpion Beetle with the Kamtec beetle body on the beach). I have another Turbo Scorpion with Kyosho Pulsar radio waiting for a rebuild/clean/polish job. I have another 3 on their way to me from around the world too. Can you give me any advise on how to get the cast alloy parts cleaned up so nicely?? Does anyone make a repro 'Turbo' body??

Hi

I use Mothers Aluminum Wheel polish, if it contains scratches then sandpaper - depending on how deep they are use whatever you need to get rid of them and use fine to smooth it out.

Hope that helps
