Hey Rick,
Welcome to the forum! I was one of the "watchers" on eBay looking at your RC10, So recognise your car from the pictures. I decided I had enough RC10s for the time being, so didn't bid!
I've been a member of the forum for a few months see my rebuild thread here:

It's a bit more difficult for us UK owners to refurbish our RC10s particularly with the 6 gear transmission, but surprisingly there are places that still do lots of parts or alternatives that work well.
Feel free to give me a shout for any tips regarding UK suppliers
Take your time to look through the threads on the forum, there is masses of useful info and helpful members.....

cheers - now that i've committed to keeping this as a runner, i'll no doubt be looking for advice on spares and hop-ups from time to time!

I noticed in your blog pictures that you don't have the chassis holes for a stealth transmission, but being a gold pan, it's pretty easy to do.
If you are going to run this longer term, then it's worth thinking about, especially if you are going brushless.
Most of the stealth transmission components can be bought here in the uk, or otherwise you can purchase a complete tranny from the USA, or when they come up on EBay UK.

yeah, I think i'll put a stealth in at some point, the chassis isn't so pristine that it would be a crime to re-drill it. I think doing that plus some aluminium steering bellcranks would make it a pretty nice brushless-ready car!

Hi Rick, looks very nice
If you ever fancy running your car against some other vintage cars, then just over the bridge is caldicot rc club. Every winter we run a vintage series, only 6 rounds but it'd be great to see another rc10!
