Does anyone know the history on the RC10 Chrome Chassis (See photo I found on current Ebay auction). When was it released, did it come from Team Associated, Any other background info?

Thanks, Limestang

Heavy Duty Easy Off, some aluminum polish, and a lot of elbow grease will turn any anodized tub chrome.

This particular chassis appears to be actually plated, and has the black Team Associated decals. I've seen 2 or 3 examples pop up on Ebay.

ive seen that buggy on ebay...there never was a chrome plated rc10...there have just been guys out there with a polishing fetish...i have a mirror finish nose plate and a 90% mirror finish motor plate but they were originally gold.sometimes people change things to make them appear to be rare or say they are...case in point the guy on ebay that was selling a light gold edinger mint condition chassis tub with stealth transmission pattern...moral of the story...its very cool looking but its just a mirror shine polished rc10 buggy. ive seen aluminum get polished to look shinier than triple chrome plated items numerous times. if it is indeed a true rare the one and only mirror finish rc10 buggy then its the worlds most valuble rc10 next to the very first one ever produced.
