So, yeah. Like many, I found my RC-10 in the attic. You guys are great, all of you, all so knowledgeable. I never raced, on a track. I did the playground, parking lot, and backyard thing. I'm not a racer, never was. My RC-10 was my friend. I neglected her for so long. Long story short, I've found her. As well as some other "old friends." (I'm looking at you JRXT, and Lunchbox). Anyway, with the help of my lhs, she moves pretty fast. However, I only wanted to replace electronics. Im just glad to see "my friend" go fast, again. These were the times. Thanks for reading.

Thank you, sir. It's great to be here. Can nobody see my pics? Is that why nobody replies? Maybe nobody cares, about me, and my car.

try uploading your pics to a decent image server like imagebam.com if you have multiples, and imgur.com, or imageshack.com for singles

I wanna see pics!

Are you sure? I thought it was a Cadillac. I don't have the box, but I still have the original "Assembly And Operating Instruction" guide, that came with the car. On the back, it has the 1928 East Edinger address, so you're probably right. Of course, I'm assuming that you know more than I do. I'm just getting back into this.

Anyway, here's my problem: I never run her, for long. It's always on straightaways. The Reedy Radon, it's quick enough, for me. However, random screws fall out. The latest was AE part #6227. At least, that's what I think it is. Is this just a sign of age? Is there anyway to prevent this? I can't not drive her, but I don't want to ruin her.

Nice complete clean car!

Your best bet is to set aside an evening or two, take it completely apart, clean the parts, and then rebuild it per the manual, and replace or repair any pieces that might be missing or broken. dish soap works very well, small toothbrush for scrubbing, etc. If you have any grime/grease, use something like simple green which works very well to really clean up the plastic parts, just use caution on aluminum parts, as it will slowly attack it.

any questions you have on missing or broken parts, just ask away here on the forum, lots of guys will be able to help you out to find substitutes for things that are no longer available.

Thanks for the tip! My original plan was to leave her dirty, as that was the dirt we acquired from back in the day. I'm beginning to realize that yeah, she deserves to be clean.
Did I read that correctly? Are you in the 19090 zip code?
