I am rebuilding the trans on my rc10t...the bushings wiped all the shafts out...i decided to upgrade to the rpm 2.65 and avid bearings. I am trying to locate the stock 6577 and 6578 outdrives for the diff but I find that very little are available and the product is discontinued....my question is that I am wondering since the stealth trans came in multiple models is there different outdrives that will work for me or possibly a newer entire diff setup to swap in the rpm 2.65

I appericate any help or advice I can get

Stock 2.25 outdrives and diff only. Try Customworks RC or Dynotech racing, they both had Customworks 2.25 (stealth copies) left and rights last time I looked.

Does anyone know if this an original stealth compatable kit? http://www.teamassociated.com/parts/details/7678/
Tower still carries this kit I think, when I was searching for out drives I found this, but never ordered them because I wasn't sure.

describes the application in the description, which unfortunately, does not include the original stealth ratio of 2.25. the diff gear, diff rings, outdrives are all too large.

Thanks for the info, I checked both sites but didn't see any...at least I know the stock 6577 and 6578 outdrives are the only ones I can get

Thanks for explaining, Now I see. The bearings for the hubs may be the same but diff rings are larger.

The rpm 2.65 comes with a top shaft and case. Use the stealth doner to complete. And yes the custom works are a dirrect fit. 4364 and 4365 are the correct ones. They are around 12 to 13 bucks each from tower.

Anyone else confirm that these custom works outdrives are for the 2.25 stealth

Upate . The 4364 and 4365 custome works outdrives are the same size but will not accept the stealth 2.25 diff rings. They won't work.
