Hello All!
I've started collecting vintage RC cars, mostly RC10s up to now, but always wanted a Yokomo. I used to race 4wd in the early 90's but never got round to buying and racing a Yokomo of any sort....
I've managed to get my hands on what was described as a YZ10 Craig Drescher Special Edition. It has a KO Fet Servo, KO Speedo and MG modified motor. This is how it arrived:
Top:
Without Body:
Front:
I'll be taking it apart, cleaning , restoring and rebuilding it. I'll post more pictures and updates as things progress.....

That price doesn't surprise me...
Overall you have made a good purchase considering youve also got period electrics!
Once you have stripped down its a good idea to refurbish the electrics if you intend to use them.
I really rate ko propo kit...and you have some rare bits there!

Nice Buggy, You´ve found.
What makes it a Craig Drescher Special Edition?
I see Losi shocks and a turnbuckle "behind" the bumper and carbon front shock mount - is that some of it?
Thanks
Dennis

The turnbuckles at the front and the rear are braces, as the 92' had durability issues and they are stock items on the Works 93' which I believe this is. Also, I believe Drescher won the 93' Euros with a Works 93'-

The control arms, shock towers and chassis were all custom (not yokomo factory). Looks like a Jammin top deck. The turnbuckles on the hinge pins were standard for the works 93, but I thought the Drescher car was between the works 91 and 93.

Looks to be the Special CML 93 chassis and towers with a Jammin upper deck.

Sorry guys, I've not had a chance to do anything with this yet. It's sat on a shelf at the moment waiting its turn to be restored in a queue of cars!
I might bump this further up the restore queue though!

I believe this is that same front shock tower and it's definitely not a standard 91, material looks very similar to fibre-Lyte weave.
