Basically looking to find out what this RC10T is and if it is worth putting money into for a resto. My dad and I built this in the early 90's and I was finally reunited with my first rc car ever, you know the one that started my addiction.

Yup looks like an original team truck. Got any underside pics? If its decent I would clean it up and not go overboard making it mint as it already looks great with just a little patina. Just try to find some white rear body mounts

It's a 7035 team truck from 93-94'. Great race trucks still with just different rear axels for the t4 wheels
Well worth some fun money

Depends on your plans 8) white arms are harder to find, and you would only want them if you were done running it. Black composite arms are a bit easier. Rpm are great for durability if your gonna keep running it. It just all depends. When you have met the post and eBay requirements for buy/sell/trade access you may have some people that can help

Yea that is my thing, I do not know if there is a vintage following anywhere near me. If there is not I may shelf her or sell her to someone that can races vintage. Never know.

That truck is competitive still, I A-main weekly in the winter indoor series with mine. You'd be surprised how
Quickly you can get a vintage group together, just by racing it for a few weeks-

Your right rear arm mount looks either really loose, or it's another left. Hard to tell for sure. Looks like anti-anti-squat, but that's only a guess. Nice truck! I'm having a bunch of fun running my first RC10 these days too!

Yea I have decided that I am going to rebuild it for racing and put all the original parts in a box in my garage, possibly give it to my son for his first rc. With everyone's experience I would love some ideas on a good setup if it is not to much to ask.

Awesome!!! The only thing you "have" to do is get some 3/16" 10T/GT CVD's so you can run the T4 or T3 wheels
For easy tire selections, and a B4/T4 topshaft and slipper assembly and spur gears for ease of adjustment and easy gear choices. Other than that, your truck has 3* deg toe per side in the rear which is perfect and great shocks, plus the stealth will handle fast brushless mods with out much trouble.

That was going to be one of my questions, what would I need to do to change over to a brushless far as tranny and putting the power to the ground. What size motor can truly fit with no modding needed?

Standard 540 size brushless, something like a 13.5 or 17.5 is good, but It can handle up to a 8.5 without much
Trouble, I raced a 6.5 for a season but there was a lot of diff maintenance

Ok so I should be good if running a vxl traxxas system, makes me happy I have a few of those laying around. When I get started doing the rebuild I will post up some photos and all that jazz.
