Scott, This may for may not help, but this is a chassis for the TRX1... maybe by viewing both images we can see any hole similarities:

Looks like the bulkhead pics match and also the trans/susp mount hole along the rear of the chassis wash. I have never heard of Andy's making Traxxas Chassis. One thing to point out, Andy's (as far as I know) never made G10 or graphite type chassis.... all his were molded. When S&K took over, so to speak, they went to G10/graphite type materials (not molded). Maybe S&K offered a chassis for Traxxas products. I'll have a look at my S&K paperwork.

i think the trx1 front bulkhead was narrow with wide arms, and this chassis has the wide bulkhead(bullit or radicator maybe) and short arms. i am at a loss

I know that Traxxas offered narrow and wide verisons of the front ends, with essentially the same suspension geometry. I just don't know enough about the Traxxas products to say what was what.

I NEED an Andy's steering rack like the one on the first picture, if you plan to part with it, I'll offer a good price

Did traxxas build cars with rear swing arm suspension? those two sets of holes on either side almost look like they were meant for such mounts...

Scott, I pulled out an original Radicator that I have. The front end is a Rad front end.......... so common sense tells me that what you have is either a Andy's or S&K Chassis that will allow the installation of either the Radicator or Hawk front end, with any mix of the various trannies, Rad, Bullet, TRX1/3, as its seems to accommodate those with the mix of holes. The two sets of whole on either side for the trailing arms are probably just what the seem, Trailing arm mounts for use with the Traxxas rear end. The only thing we can't prove at this point, is on paper that they sold this combo. I am sure some of the members have an old RCCA with an S&K add. You could always PM Richie to have a discussion with AJ at Pegasus, he'll know... he would be the "horse's mouth".
Cool though. I dig it.
