Getting settled

Hi everyone
Just wanted to say that now that I've moved from Nova Scotia to Alberta (4973kms) I'm getting my RC stuff layed out and back in the scene a bit more. I don't have a hobby room, but I have an unfinished basement

It's a walk out basement with a patio door and windows, so lots of natural light, which is awesome.
I'm going to be about 15-20mins from Slotcarod too, so hopefully we can get together and log some hours at the track.
And, if you noticed, Rick...there still isn't a front bumper on my wraith

Welcome to Alberta! Are you in Calgary? I assume you are if you're close to slotcarrod.

Close to Calgary, just north in Airdrie. Rid lives in NE Calgary so I'm fairly close.
Thanks for the welcome

too bad the basement wasn't wired. There is only one out let in the whole basement. I guess, nothing an extension cord cant fix.

Hi johnny! The panel box is just down the other end of the wall. No other boxes elsewhere. I don't think the wifey would let me do any home electrical jobs either

Not too many other things. I could probably pack most of the other things under the stairs. The basement is roughed in for a bathroom, but nothing else is done.

Good to have ya here! I am just south of downtown, don't get up to the track much at all.
That basement is going to be great from the looks of it. You are going to love it here.

yeah, add some receptacles, just don't tell the wife anything.
three years from now, when she ventures into the basement, just tell it was there when you moved in

I get in enough trouble on my own, I don't need your guys help
There will be no photos and online help to do electrical work. The move has been stressful enough for my wife I want to get some sometime before the year is over ya know
