I have a question about a 10T runner project I have going. It's a mix of a bunch of parts I had laying around and I need an opinion on mounting the rear shocks. I'm using T4 rear shocks, a 10T team truck rear tower, and 10T RPM rear arms. The shocks are mounted towards the rear of the shock tower on the T4 and forward on the 10T. When I hold the shock up to the forward position, the bottom of the shock is super far away from the arm mounting point. My question is, should I mount them forward and use nylon spacers and a long screw or can I mount them behind the tower so the bottom mount lines up better? The body I'm using allows for both options. If anyone has used a similar setup on their trucks I'd love to see a pic. I'll try and post a pic this morning of what I'm working with.

The t4 and t shocks are the same dimetions so there should be no issues when using them. I would say your inner arm mount for the rear arms is mounted in the wrong holes when it was mounted to the chassis thats why they arent linning up. Take a look at them and make sure they are all the way forward. You have pics?

I thought I replied to this in the AM.......guess not your in the LWB setting @ the toe blocks (which is just fine as it makes the truck more stable and easier to drive overall) this means you have to add a spacer at the bottom shock mount to reduce binding- or mount on the backside of the tower- (v1 T4 shocks on my outdoor truck in SWB with 3 deg inboard toe in)

HAHA I'm silly, I forgot to check that. This truck will mainly be a basher but I'm trying to get my friend into racing so I have a buddy to race with. I think I'll leave the blocks where they are to aid in stabillity and try to mount the shocks using a spacer. Thanks again for your help. This site has been a great help to me.

Don't forget that there's supposed to be the three-hole lower shock mount that gets bolted to the arm as well as the lower shock bushing with the built-in spacer to space the shock away from the arm.

Thanks everyone for your help, I got the shocks all sorted out last night and everything is working fine with no binding. I'll post a few pics when I get home from work.
