since i won a sweet team durango dex410rv3 at the vonats i'm gonna start racing it.
i always stayed away from 1/10 4wd because the cars were expensive and fragile, well a free, tough, buggy has changed my mind.

i've got a tekin 7.5t rs pro system on it's way for it as well as a variety of tires and diff oils and some of the upgraded parts that are known issues on the "r" model.

is anyone 'round these parts running one of these tanks? any tips?

will be racing on tight indoor tracks, we now have two really close.

Great class, new to me last year- super responsive and fast as hell, tons of attitude adjustments to the car the air and track. My favorite by far

that's how i felt about 1/8 e-buggy last year and this 'rango is like a mini 1/8.
i'm hoping it drives similar.

I just finished building mine. I should have a decent setup soon if you'd like it.

I have a B44 with a 7000kv motor and it has been bulletproof. It's also crazy, stupid fast. Love it and its bone stock

I racea 44.1 too, with a 7.5.

Personnally I don't like that class,, too brutal driving, too much grip, it encourages you to overdrive it. I just race it for the extra wheel time...

2wd is a much nicer driving imho... guess I'm in minority so I'll shut up now

naw, you're not a minority. nothing will ever replace 2wd mod buggy for me, nothing!

i don't care how well i drive the rango, 2wd is THE CLASS! but extra wheel time is always good, and i've definetly enjoyed 1/8 e-buggy.

I love my b44.1... it puts me at my driving and mechanical limits.
When that car is tight and dialed it is a job well done.
Pointing it in the right direction is the only thing I have to practice!

Am I crazy or does the Tamiya belt drive look awesome?!

Just kidding! I would love to try one of the newer 4wd buggys. They look so beefy!

My opinion may not be worth much since I don't actually race, but I love my B44 like others have already mentioned.

I ran it with an 18T brushless motor on a super-tight track my friends and I built in our backyard, and it was hard to get it to not handle well right out of the box. It's so much more predictable than my RC10 on the same track with the same electronics.

It will probably never see a real track because there's none within a few hours of me, but it's a fun buggy regardless.

you name something 4x4 i dont have to run saddle pack id think of running 4x4 buggy. i had a yz10 and optima mid back in the day and they were great

i used to say the same thing, the batteries were one of the things that kept me from the class, but a free car changes that a bit.
