Does anyone have the measurements of part OT-18 (Optima rear shaft)? If not, can someone post a picture of one next to a ruler?
Many thanks to anyone able to help.

62.5 mm, from pin-to-pin. Front dogbones are the same.
EDIT: My apologies, I confused "shaft" to mean dogbones. I can get you the axle measurements tonight, unless somebody else beats me to it.

Sorry for the delay. The rear shafts, end-to-end, are approximately 35 mm. The fronts are 34.5 mm. If you need any other measurements, let me know.

Thanks for the measurements. Do you know if the Kyosho hex adapters for this axle are interchangeable with the Schumacher CAT 2000 to 3000 series hex adapters?

Oooww...that's a tricky one. I'm not sure it's the 'exact' same taper but you could give it a go and see where it gets you.
Let us know how those Schuey hubs go will you.

Thank you for the help and measurements. The approximate measurements for the different portions of the drive shaft and axle I am looking to match are are listed in the following figure and legend. The measurements are in millimeters. If you have the taper length measurements for sections D through G it would be helpful for comparison.
A: 11.8
B: 68.0
C: 6.0
D: 11.5
E: 6.0
F: 1.0
G: 6.5
H: ⌀5.0
I: ⌀3.0
J: 2.5

It would help us to know exactly what you're trying to do. There are other ways of accomplishing what I think you're after than just matching every single measurement to the nearest millimeter. For example, switching to hex hubs that fit onto cross-pins that go through the axles means you don't have to worry about hex tapers anymore.

Thank you for your help. While my main goal is to find a workaround to the original driveshaft (U1915), when I noticed that the Kyosho axle was tapered as well -- I though it might fit.
I have posted what I am trying to do at the following link in the Schumacher section and would appreciate any recommendations you may have.

Thank you for the suggestion. Based on the length of dimension B, Kyosho part LA-231 may be an alternative.
