It is basically a Slahs 4x4 with a low and flat chassis. That's to say, much closer to what the racing SCTs are... I'm pretty sure lots of people will buy this to put Slash bodies and wheels on it :)

Great. I was going to make a rally from a Pede 4x4, but Traxxas beat me to it.

I don't know, there have been rally cars before and most of them better looking than this. Not to be too unkind, but as far as rally cars go, this is really quite ugly.

What this car has over other rally cars is size and off road ability, something like a Tamiya XV-01 is very low and not at home in many off road tracks, the Traxxas rally car on the other hand looks like it could be very much like a buggy or stadium truck in terms of off roading ability. That's cool!

Here's the official product page: http://traxxas.com/products/models/electric/7407rally ... Yikes, it really isn't pretty.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE what they have done basing it on a short course truck. But I wish it looked more like this:

And less like a... well, its just ugly...

I think I want one, but to put a truck body on it :)

If you want a Delta, you can always get a df03ra. Probably my next car.
Rally Legends also makes one.
At least it's got nice long arms, beefy parts, and good parts support.
Hopefully price around $300.
Is it just me, or is that a Leaf with a more aggressive front end?

Not a Delta specifically, I simply meant that it could look more like a real rally car.

When I first saw the Slash even though I couldn't tell what truck it was my first thought was "Awesome! That looks like a real race truck!"

Like you I LOVE the chassis, and Traxxas support is always good.
