I'm restoring a couple of yokomos both works 91/92/93. They are missing their battery straps (1 to cover 3 cells, the other to cover 4 cells) and also the battery posts.

Does anyone have any sources to get replacements or any know of any alternatives that I can use that don't look out of place and will look "stock"?

I think DW911 used to have some battery straps for yokomo, though I don't know if they were correct for 91/92/93, but you could ask him.

otherwise, you gotta check ebay, unless someone has them willing to sell here. I know the strap parts are usually easier to find than the posts.

The British Empire strikes again - Fibre-Lyte

I'm maybe looking in the wrong place on the fibrelyte site....I can see the 3 cell straps (for a YZ10) but not any 4 cell straps.....

If You look under the - Yokomo YZ-10 1995 WCS, You´ll find the strap for the 4-cell

Ahh yes, but that only works on the pavidis chassis as the ends are offset. Unfortunately it doesn't work in a works 91 chassis (I tested it with the pavidis chassis I have).....I've now managed to source a few straps from this site, but it would be good to find other sources.

I might approach Fibrelyte to see what sort of price they would charge to make the parts....

Is there anyone with the original works 91 battery straps willing to take their measurements for me and send them to me? I can then send this to fibrelyte to get some costs....
