Hi Experts,

I have gold pan A RC10 chassis.

I want to fit tamiya gold hotshot rims to it.

Will the team CRP adaptors (front and rear) work? Specifically, I'm referring to the Fox rear adaptors and the front axle mods both by CRP.

If not, can anyone suggest some other adaptors or shiny rims I can get for a reasonable price?

fox adapter can let you used fox wheel on rc10 but fox gold wheel are rare
you can use blackfoot rear adapter fit with frog chrome wheels

I suppose you could use the Hotshot to Kyosho wheel adapters from CRP with the 1/4" axle to 12mm hex adapters from HPI to mount Hotshot wheels on the rear of an RC10. However, since the front wheels on a Hotshot don't use bearings in the wheels you'd not only have to use the CRP and HPI adapters on the fronts, you'd have to switch to the B4.1/SC10 front hex knuckles.

With all those adapters the offset on the wheels is likely to be out of whack.

Just a heads up on the fox and blackfoot adaptors from CRP. They work with 1/4 axles but you will need the barrel nut to make them work. CRP offers barrel nuts only for meteric threads. These are the barrel nuts.

Before i go and make another thread, figured I'd ask here.
I order a set of CRP wheel adapter and front axles to mount blackfoot rims to a gold pan. Would I be able to mount Tamiya Hornet rims and tires to the gold pan instead of the black foot rims & tires ? Dont want to go buy a set if they wont fit.

Original Blackfoot / Monster Beetle wheels used the same adaptor as the Frog, Hornet etc, so YES, there is no reason why the rears wont fit..

However, the front Blackfoot wheels used a longer axle, which will be too long to suit the Hornet front rims.. Thanks for that information. A few of my Rc10's will be sporting Tamiya Hornet rims and tires

Well, my order from Team CRP came in from ebay today.
I ordered #1552 , was told Id be able to mount Tamiya Blackfoot Rims to a Rc10. The front axles are not wide enough to go through the bearings on the blackfoot rims.

Im almot positive i can use them to mount buggy rims. Now all i need is Buggy rims n tires AND the correct parts to mount black foot rims to the front.
