YYYUUUUGGGHHHHHH!!!!! LOL. I had a few of them when they first came out.. the cars are decent toys but not even as good as mini-z's. The radios STINK on them too. Just generally YUCK!

I have a few of them and can echo Erich's sentiments. I think they are designed well but the plastic are low quality and flex easily which makes for a sloppy car. For a toy their cheap enough but don't expect too much.

Its not so much the size of the car that attracts me but some of the car bodies, I love American Muscle cars. My dad had a 67 Mustang when we lived in Trinidad in the 80's. It was awesome you could hear it coming from around the corner.

I have to differ a bit from the previous reviews. Except for the Servos, we have a had a BLAST with the ones we have (Gen1s: Skyline, RSX, NSX, 350Z, Camaro, Supra, and a Firebird EVO (havent messed with much)). We even built a 20 X 8 Covered Plywood Oval to run em on.
We upgraded a few things here and there, like Bearings throughout, AWD on some, shimmed this and that, different Tie-Rods, etc. But, the last time I had mine out (AWD Skyline), the Steering left a little something to be desired. In looking, it looks like something in the "Servo Horn" may have worn out. Its has a bit of play before it actually turns the wheels. I believe the "horn" or actual Case has worn. Checking around, I found a couple more of them with the same prob. I called AtomicMods.com, and they said there are no "upgraded" servos for the XMODS, but I have yet to investigate further.
I'd give em...oh..7/10..."for what they are", and maybe 9/10 without the servo problem. We were PRETTY ROUGH on them though, so it might be all our fault.

I have had a first gen and an Evo, and "for what they are", I think they are cool little cars. True the quality isn't on par with the mini-z's, but I never had any serious issues with either on of mine.
