The best RC stories are told by a set of completely bald knobby tires. Someone had some fun with that one.

That looks pretty decent to me. I too think the knobbies are cool. Those are really bald!

Now THAT'S the car you need to trick out with aftermarket goodies. It looks to be in pretty good shape, but I'm sure some of the parts are a bit sloppy judging by the tire wear. Just be warned...Once you start, it's a hard habit to break!
Have fun,
Russ

How is it possible to have the tires be worn down so much and barely have any scratches on the belly of the tub at the same time?

Regardless, nice buggy!

You know what, I REALLY like the way that buggy looks as is. Total rat rod.

After tearing this thign down, you can tell it was a runner for sure and prolly been rebuilt and re-rebuilt several times over. It has ball bearings all around, and the tranny was in really good shape inside and out. The nose is all knicked up but the pan is in great shape minus some minor scuffing towards the rear. Again, I woulda loved to have known the story behind this sucker with all the mixed up parts. Im thinkin this will be the WOIN build and Ill keep the thing runnin and bashing like the original owner(s) obviously did along the way.

Another nice find...Keep the rat rod theme going...That is what i am gonna try to do with the next one i build because i do want one to drive...Keep the clean pan and put the dog on there...Then you won't be kicking yourself later for trashing the pan lol...

Well, the Mutt became even more...mixed LOL. I picked up some long front arms along with what I was hoping was a light gold nose to match the pan. When it showed up...it was light gold alright

Now it appears that I have 3 different shades of gold goin on with this sucker.
Trans and motor plate from the Bronco Buggy to show the color difference. I plan on hunting down a Stealth for this thing.
Arms look good on this thing.
Look forward to hunting down the remaining parts needed to essentially take this thing from a rough spare parts buggy and make it a slightly less rough, spare parts CE style RC10.

Got a set of 20deg knuckles and inline axles in and installed. Gonna pull apart some wheels I got as well and dye some parts black and try to finish up the rear shortly. Slow progress but progress non-the-less!
