Since my associated shock rebuild debacle a few months ago I decided to use Kyosho Velvets for my old is new build rc10 goldpan. I have a 10T rear tower and I think rpm worlds front tower where the nose tubes go through, both are fibre lyte. The velvets are in mm but I wasnt sure if all other measurement aspects were the same, ie do I need exactly the same mm velvets that equate to 1.02" associated front shocks?

Any help is appreciated, thanks. I am using Dynotech front and rear arms, btw.

I cannot answer your specific question, but, maybe this will help:

I have an OIN with Associated Wide Track front A-arms and Atlas "Worlds" front shock tower - I believe the Associated shock for this setup is the 0.71,
I use 30mm Kyosho Velvets, they fit perfect.

The rear has Associated A-arms with an Atlas "Worlds" tower - which I believe would use a 1.02 shock, now using 38mm Kyosho Velvets (also perfect fit).

Thanks so I wonder if it should be 38mm front and 46m rear?
