The YZ10 identification game!!

I picked up this sweetie off of eBay recently. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears to be a '94 YZ10 with an aftermarket upper deck (the '94 had an FRP upper deck, right?). I don't think it's a Pavidis edition, since the shock towers are FRP.

Overalll, it looks like it's in good condition. Just some minor damage on the left rear shock tower, minor rust on the CVDs, and the rear stabilizer is missing. But the belts look good, diff gears, etc. look good. No significant play/wear on the suspension arms, the chassis decks look tip top, etc. I am surprised that the rear shock travel is way too much...will need some uptravel limiters there...also for the front. With some proper tires, I'll bet this can hold its own against those vintage Schumacher Cat 2000's...

Upgraded carbon fiber upper deck、TCS slipper and team shock on 94‘s,or just changed chassis、battery stramp and shock tower base on pavidis, looked at other parts just mixed on runner car

You sure about the battery strap and shock towers? I was looking at Fibre-Lyte's YZ10 parts, and by the shape they appear to be from the standard '94 model. Also, the Pavidis model had graphite shock towers...

I'm mainly trying to determine here if this is a '94 chassis. If so, I think it would be legal for vintage racing, and a heck of a lot easier to drive than my Avante.

you are correct, those are standard '94 chassis , battery tie downs (upgraded to Yokomo carbon fiber) and shock towers. Pavidis front tower is solid (no cutouts); Pavidis rear tower has round holes.

Ok, thanks for the help. Next thing is whether I should do a Pavidis paint scheme or a Masami paint scheme ;)
