So I had posted about using XXX front c hubs and spindle carriers in order to use XXX front tires, and they appear to work great.

Here is my finished JRX-Pro vintage racer. I wanted to keep it very "time sensitive" except for the tires and front spindles. I'm using an old XL2P (the radio I used to race with back in the day, especially for the "cheat button" aka brake overide) a Tekin 410, kyosho outlaw stock motor and an old futaba 148 servo. For modifications, I'm using XX rear rims drilled to the correct hole diamter and XXX front rims with the JRX swept A-arms. The stock arms will work well, but the swept arms give a hair more on power steering.

The only thing I'm missing is a body. I have an old RC10 body I could probably make work and I have a nice condition XX body, but it doesn't quite fit right. I will probably just save up for a JRX-Pro body (unless someone has one and wants to trade for a XX body)

Here's the front spindle. I just had to drill out the C-hub to fit the JRX hinge pin, the width of the C-hub was perfect though.

Yeah, JWSCAB really helped me out with the front arms. They look great on this buggy.

I'm still trying to decide a couple things. I have a JRX2 chassis (the shorter wheel base) as well as the 5 link rear that I could use. I'm torn there. It's hard putting together a JRX runner and not use the 5 link. I'll probably stay with the H-arm though because that's what my racer had back in the day. (JRX2 with H-arm and an aluminum front bulkhead that has been posted about on here).

Now it's just biting the bullet for a body I guess.

Dude that turned out sweet! I'd like to get one of my old ones running and get some track time going again. I heard someone else using Associated B4 front wheels. Then you don't even have to mess with new hubs/spindles.

Yes, you just need a small spacer for the B4 rims.

We don't have a "vintage" class per se. It's a small carpet off road track and they get "creative" with classes.

We have the standard
1. 4WD open Short Course Truck
2. 2WD open Short Course Truck
3. 2WD Spec Short Course Buggy (Everyone runs out of the box stock Losi XXX-SCB basically)
4. Non-Short course open class (this has buggies, trucks etc, of any configuration, you could see rustlers running against xxx-cr against B4.1 against stampedes but it's competitive)
5. The no idea what to call this class. This has everyone who has a "fun" vehicle thrown together just to go out and have a blast. Last weekend, the class had 3 Associated SC18's, a Mini-Revo and a Bullhead....yes you're reading it right. A big ole clod buster running against 1/16 and 1/18 scales. It was like a car crush rally where the crushees move. LOL. I've built up a Losi Mini-LST to run in this class, but I'm also working on a Clodzilla 4 (when it gets to me) with dual brushless and dual 2S lipos to run in it.....WHAT?!?!

I'm going to run the Pro in class number 4 above. The only class I'm not currently running in is 2 and 4. i won't run 2 because I only own so many batteries LOL.
