BTW....re: the nose plate hole....been there done that! Sucks don't it! The screw will hide it but you will always know its there

That was the first hole drilled, did not zero the tool before starting.

I will build it as a buggy, but will be used for oval carpet.

I am going to stop by the local track and see what is running on oval classes
If no vintage class is running I will make it a buggy and just enjoy.it .

if you are putting an aluminum nose plate on the car, be sure to add some kind of front bracing. The rc10gt had a pan chassis with two nose tube bulkheads you could add to the chassis to prevent bending the kickup too easily.

Looking at my graphite rc10 it looks like the servo will interfere, i might have to make new tubes and mount for the bracing.
