Lohas rims and what's needed

Hi, what a surprise to find out tonight my girlfriend found and brought me some "dazzle" Lohas rims today while I was at work, I had been looking for a few weeks, was out bid on some sees on eBay recently and she knew how much I wanted some nice rims. Do I need any extra parts like bearings, washers or anything else to fit these rims to a standard rc10. Also can you reccommend tyres that will fit, I am not even sure on tyre size so I would really appreciate any advice.

Congrats - they fit standard 2.2" tires. I believe on the front, you use standard bearings. In the back, I recommend trying the stock bushings to make it fit the axle and once the nut is tight you won't have any issues I think. I haven't tried mine yet, they are just so nice I'm afraid to even run them.

Hi Chris, thanks for the reply. I'm in the same boat as you, not sure if I should put them on and use or buy another shelf queen to put them on so I can just to look at them. Is it possible for any one to post pics of the underside of two rc10's, one with stealth tranny and one with ordinary 6 gear tranny. I am having trouble up loading pics at the moment of my chassis, it has an A stamp and six gear tranny ,but there are no other screw holes in the rear besides the ones allready used to install original tranny, so in order to install a stealth tranny will I have to drill extra holes as I have seen some sort of template for this. I would rather keep this chassis original and not drill holes, what model gold pan chassis am I after that has the stealth tranny? Can any of you good blokes steer me in the right direction, thank you
Mick

Congrats on the rims. I believe you need a B or C stamp chassis, experts please correct me if I am wrong.

Here is a pic of the underside of my car with stealth tranny, notice the 4 extra black screws in the rear of the car.

Regards,

Ren

Associated made a template to drill holes for stealth. I was lucky enough to grab two sets of his wheels. From how Lohas talked, I doubt he will do another run

Check out rccarbonworks.com - there is a stealth drill guide:

They also carry shock towers and stuff for the RC10 still.

Yes I don't think he will do another set, so with that and their tricky fitment I would not run them. I had to get someone on the board to help get mine to fit nicely by machining some adaptors and they still have a loose fit with some play.

Thanks for all the replies, I really appreciate it. So after looking at the underside of Ren's chassis, I definitely don't have a stealth tranny or the holes for it, thanks Ren for the pic, at least I know what to look for now...what year chassis do I need to get stealth tranny? Also what do I need to buy or ask for in order to fit the Lohas rims to my rc10, people keep saying they are hard to get them to fit right or tight? I want to at least try and fit them Christmas day and have any hardware I may need. Cheers for any advice fellas, it's appreciated.
