Just got this, got a bunch of ebay parts on the way.
Whats the best color to match the chassis if a repaint is in order?

LOOK AT THOSE LOWER REAR SPRING CUPS!
What have you gotten yourself into boy? Is the chassis bent? Any extra holes?

Actually, I didnt
know that...
Like I said this is my first gold pan, I used to look at them in the hobby shop...sitting on the top shelf,
glowing, as if they had a halo around them...all while I plopped down my measly 75 bucks for the Blackfoot. So, thanks for not triying to score those spring cups from me
The chassis doesnt look bent and as for holes...I couldnt say what belongs or what doesnt...none look out of place or made with a drill in a hillbillies hand.
Heres what i have coming so far...

So, the chassis looks more like assy has anyone succesfully repainted one? Any tricks for that? I doubt I will spring for anodization.
And I will take your advice and spare it from the brushless mamba 7700. I have a few old motors that will keep the vintage vibe.

Nah, its all good! Just take care of them. I say so because among all of us here, your car is the first (i think) to help prove that they somehow exist in the mortal world
