I am having a hard time taking the steering assembly apart. How do you go about removing the bearings from this steering setup? Or can you?
The setup in question:

They come out, hit 'em with some WD40 and tap them out.

Do you have any of the micro super thin edge flat screwdrivers? You should be able to get under the flange of the bearing and slowly work your way around it.

Rather than create a new thread, I have anonther question.
Does anyone have issues with binding ball cups with this setup? I am running lunsford turnbuckles with stock AE ball cups and they hit each other when turning either left or right.

it's typical on a tub chassis. try using low profile ball studs on the bellcrank as well as the inner camber mount.

would you be willing to post up a manufacturer or pn for these low profile ball studs?

they might help it to clear. if not, give them to a machine shop and have them mill like half the thickness off of it.

Or you can run these, particularly on the RPS horns.
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFPW7&P=7 Do you have short arms? The RPS horns are thicker because I think they where designed very early on and IMO work best with this sort of linkage. The bump steer isn't great otherwise. I think that at full travel with the short arms, the ball end steering linkage is prone to popping off anyway.

just an update. I went ahead a tried the dubro links linked above and they do not work with rps steering on a tub car. They end up being the same size as the stock ball cup and ball stud. They are too big. Need to find something similar just smaller.
something like might work....
