I have a restored Team Truck but the chassis is painted. I might cannibalize this to get a new Team truck put together. We shall see if I can stand tearing it open or not.

I don't recall there being a way to tell without murdering the plastic wrap

I have all new white plastic and hard anno shocks if I decide to cut it. It would be nice if they had some sort of production code.

the images on the box sides can sometimes give ideas as to what is inside. on the buggies anyway, not sure on the trucks.

I would. But I probably wouldn't build it.

if it was a buggy, that would be an easy one for me....... open it, and most likely build it. you would've got it at a great price, and no matter what, will make money on it if you go to sell it down the road without even trying. it doesn't seem as easy with trucks, though i hope a new built 10t would atleast what you paid for that sealed kit.

It may be considered a classic, but the reality is the enjoyment of the hobby....That being said, I would've had it running by now.

I definitely enjoy the hobby. I have said many times before that making money at this is a poor proposition. As I have many "opened" projects I may leave this wrapped for a while, not for money reasons but just for the new on the hobby shop shelf feeling.

Great grab. I would leave unopened and put it on the shelf as a unopened "queen"

Feel like Noobs with the bottomless well of information some of you guys have. If most people use 10% of their brain you must be at least 11%. I tend to try not to get much over 9%.
