I knew at one time there were some options for this sort of thing back in the day. I found a website that still offers this sort of product, but not for the gold tub or black tub chassis. Has anyone tried to use standard contact paper with any great success? What about other options?

Tram blue groove sells a full undertray in lexan and its pretty cheap. I know you are asking about the adhesive kind, but I never liked the look of the associated stuff plus it was a pita to remove the residue. Just my 0.02

I googled team blue groove.... are you referring to them on eBay? I only see that it refers to an eBay store? I tried searching on eBay, but am not getting to the right area though.

The lexan under trays just split apart after a few runs. Go with film .

You can try contating Bill from Clinehobbies (member here) : I remember he was their reseller in the US

The best way I found is to remove everything from the surface, apply the film puncture the screw holes and re-install everything. It's cumbersome, but other wise you have to cut holes when you want to loosen a screw , and the cut holes gather dirt and tear.
