Here's a project request for all the historical gurus out there:
It would be helpful to have pics and possible production dates for all the various bell crank options for the RC10s. I've known of many options in the past, but memory fades, and I'm sure others could use it as a reference.

Wow...3 days, and no one has any input. What happened to the people who tell a car was made on the 3rd Tuesday in August '87 simply by looking at the mold marks on the ball cups?....

The people that have them are not always those that can ID them.

Post up pics of bellcranks and I'm sure we can put the descriptions with em

mip (2 or 3 versions)
hot trick
associated (worlds style)
andy's slider setup

those are off the top of my head. there's quite a few from dirt oval mfg's too, such as kranzels. though the ones they have now are for 20 and 40 degree kickups.

yeah, i don't think any one has many of them all sitting around waiting for pictures, ie, it's not too convenient.

probably dozens others that were repackaged or very similar.

Who made the rack and pinion style that had a place for a aervo saver or horn on the pinion? I want to say Holeshot but I'm sure that's not right

gpm made an aluminum one also.

Thank you. The only ones I seem to recognize without a doubt are the Hot Trick and A&L cranks. The only aluminum one I know of was from Losi (only because I had one on an old car several years ago). The Houge and Associated Worlds cranks look too similar for me to tell the difference. Besides the factory Associated ones, the rest I have never seen before.

I just thought it would be a nice reference thread for newbies and those of us who don't get around much.

OK, here's a start:
The Stock Associated crank, used on the early production cars. Houge crank. Looks similar to the "Worlds" crank. I can tell this one by the name molded into it. Is this the old Losi crank, or another aluminum version? How can you tell? Who made this? If anyone has anything different, post it up.

I beleive those last ones were made/commissioned to be made by someone on the board here. Beleive they were a direct copy of the worlds car bellcranks...

I think Chris Chan from Hong Kong sold those out of the BST.

is this camlchris? I was thinkin it was one of the pancar guys but can't find the thread about getting these made. He had a thread first somewhere and then went thru the b/s/t area to sell them for like $40 or something like that. Kinda foggy about the details yet...

Add Sassy Chassis, Winning Edge Pro-Steer (rack & pinion), and Slam Dunkin to the list already mentioned. Pics can all be found on RC10Talk if you Google them.

Addendum: For the 10T you also had Composite Craft. There were also a couple of different of versions for the MIP, RPM, and Sassy bellcranks.

Yes, that's him. Those pieces are the best bellcranks I've had yet.
