LRP spin super opinions

Hi all
I've been looking for a brushless combo for an old B4 RS that I'm sorting out. The castle sidewinder sv2 seemed to be the way to go until I saw the LRP spin super combos. Looks really good for the money, just wondering what the general opinions were.

Cheers in advance,
Dave

It's weird, I can't find any reviews or opinions on the spin super. Just a whole lot of media.
Is it too new still or is there limited interest?
I'm pretty sure that when I find it in stock I'll grab one maybe the 10.5 turn. If so, I'll post some info.

my buddy uses a spin super. it's a blinky class esc, no boost or timing.
reliable and cheap.

I have considered buying one of those Spin Super combo's as well.
Please do post any opinions your might have on it;
as well as a pic mounted in your B4 - I'd like to see how well it fits.

it's small. i will say that i wouldn't buy one. it seemed very slow.

my friend put his in an abc genetic. i also run a genetic and we are both geared the same, same batteries.
my car was much faster. the only difference being i was using a hw 60amp xerun with timing. my motor is old and needs bearings yet i was lapping him like no tomorrow.
we are pretty equal drivers on this carpet oval. then i put my lrp spx zero in, in blinky mode and i was still faster.

there's another guy at the track with one and he complains about not being able to keep up.

if you're just bashing or running blinky then it's probably fine, but i was not impressed at all.

i wasn't going mention my persoanl feelings about it since the op just ordered one, but if you haven't yet i'd think twice about it.

in the end it seems reliable and cheap.

Got it.
Combo ended up costing less than $100 with a promotion. Plus shipping.
Thin wires but generally looks pretty good for the money. Not much else to say yet, but here's some pics...

Looks good installed, no dramas with the fit. Haven't run it yet for various reasons, hope to this weekend.

Here's the latest.
Hooked it all up but have had problems with the radio. Emailed AE who replied promptly and went on to figure out that there is a problem with the speedo which affects various receivers, including Futaba.
I have sent the receiver back to AE who will sort it out and send me a new one. A bit of a pain, but the customer service is really good so far.
Before I sent it back, I manage to run it in the backyard with an old radio. It seemed quite powerful and super smooth. The vector sounds like a TIE fighter.
A bit bummed out about having to wait for it to come back now, but that's life.
I'll let you know how it turns out.

Sorry, I meant 'I sent back the speedo' not receiver. Derr.
