Just want to get some feed back here guys. As some of you might know, I'm in the need of a black B stamp , off line chassis. So I have a new gold one that I have no plans for, so should I get it re anodized, or hold out till I find a new one. Can the shop copy the finish correctly, or will it look off. Anybody have experience with this? Marlo.

Yeah, that's certainly true. If you were doing something off the wall different, I'd say for sure contact an anodizing shop, and there are a few that people have used on this forum with good results. However, since you are looking for more or less a common item(ie, not a red powdercoat tub or super early no stamp) you are probably better off tracking one down on ebay or possibly see if there is anyone here who would like to trade. I'd keep my eyes peeled, pick up a gem, and then offset the cost by selling the gold pan. I would say that a NIP gold pan is probably a slightly higher worth item than a NIP black pan, just due to the fact that they are(probably) less NIP gold ones left.

In a #'s sense, there were way way more gold CE's sold (evident by eBay cars alone) then Team cars, plus the tub he's looking for was first release only, very short run (akin to the black A)

But a standard B would suit him very nicely as well, but not the late-

Ah gotcha, certainly not the tub variation expert as evidenced by my reply. I was going by lots of ebay searching, seems like there is always a NIP black tub on ebay vs gold tub, but since it's a specific variation, my apologies.

I'll hold out and wait. Good things come to those who wait, or so they say :D I hate asking so many questions all the time, hope no one is upset yet, but I have another, this time it's about ce tires. I will post some pic's and ask the question then, at the appropriated tread. Marlo. 8)

Ok, for the late ce ( white ) I have these tires. Rears# 6822, or # 6823. Front # 6872, Or 6873. Mid Ce protec2, Late CE with white, viper. If the lates use the 6823, I'll still be happy, I dug up a set with 1 piece rims, sealed in bag from some kit, didn't even know I had them!!. Who knows maybe there's a black tub in there somewhere...... Not
