Thanks Gents,

I think it must be a ZX-RR, but not sure though.
I don´t know the maker of the chassis nor the shock mounts, but they´re well performed.
The shocks are standard Option House golds - glass bead blasted.

Hi Dennis

Nice car! I don't think it's an RR though. The shocks don't quite look like they are from an RR but you do have a
a hopped up steering bell crank system like that found on the zx-s, other than that it a nice model!

The wheels are from Ballistic Buggy.

Do You have a picture of Your RR on the internet?

Thanks.

Looks like a mk2 not an RR as no hyper clutch. Still the shocks dont appear to be part of the original either, but could be wrong, maybe its the front pair thats worn a bit and my eyesite. Also motor plate appears to be a one off or for a different car. Steering poles dont appear to be original either and the servo poles look nice so where did those come from? Its possible someone built it from spares.

Just had a look at my ZX-RR and the motor mount plate doesn't look like that one.

The ZX-RR had different shocks to the golds, they're more of a grey colour.

Thanks for the replies :D
It was advertised as a ZX-RR with Japanese prototype parts, ie the motormount.
The shocks are just glass bead blasted gold Option House ones.
The servo mounts, could be handcrafted aswell - can´t recall having seen those before.

The aluminum on the steering posts is just a sleeve made from 8mm tube.
I haven´t had it dismantled yet, but the sleves are loose and the steering rack seems firm.

Another ZX-R, this one with a freshly painted Parma TomCat repro body.
A BIG thank you to Jeff (gomachv) for doing fine new shocktowers for it.

Now it´s just to dismantle, clean AND overhaul the ball diff´s - Judging by their state, the former owner must have been close related to HULK.......... No, they´re not green!
