I don't think I had ever seen this race before - amazing drive by both guys.
It sure looks like Brian could have pulled away a bit, if he ever got by Masami.

What a great duel. Masami's glance back at Brian at the end is priceless.

Looks like Masami was running the standard tub Worlds Car. Did he only run the 'stealth' variants in the '89 and '91 Worlds events?

Although, I suppose in '95 he was running a B2...

Looking at that shot of the line-up reminds me that there's just nothing better looking than a 1/10th scale 2WD buggy. 8) And man are they dialed or what??! I try to picture it as if I was on that track with 'em and it would really screw up the flow of the racing if they had to go around my flipped car every other lap.

no one "shuts the door" like masami, man he could really keep'em at bay. i lost track of how many times he shut kinwald down, who really seemed to have the faster car.

The blockpass at 2:02 is brilliant :)

Which race was this? I can see MF in the third line too...

Thanks for sharing, it's fantastic!

anyone got a pic of masami's buggy? Watching from my phone his paint job looks very low key compared his others over the years. a great race indeed!
