I'd like to play on-line, but I live about 1/2 a mile from the regular hi-speed internet around here. I've contacted every provider and they act like I live in another country. 
Satellite internet blows. I had that for a while and it just wasn't very fast. I now use a mobile hot spot which is very fast and reliable, but still not strong enough for on-line gaming or streaming video. I think Satellite net has improved, but I'm down to just my Directv satellite and I want to keep it that way. At one time I had 3 out there. It looked pretty ridiculous. 
I love Directv though. The mobile hotspot is pretty nice to have too. I'm still hoping that one of the major providers moves into my area. They say the population is too low out there.
