Bearing size question

I know this is redundant question but it seems that I ordered the size bearings listed in the '6-gear trans bearing list' and I didn't come up with a bearing that fit into the top shaft holder-thingy...

Not sure its exact name, but the top shaft end sits in the nylon carriers on both sides and I don't seem to have the correct bearings for the outboard side opposite the spur gear.

Any help appreciated. Thanks

3/16 x 5/16 flanged. same as the idlers, and 2 out of the 4 outdrive bearings.

am i dumb or do these 3/16 not fit...i used a reamer on one to make it seat. i dont remember having this problem before when i rebuilt a sixer. there is about a 1/16 overhang of nylon i trim to let it work, the bearing should just usually seat, correct?

Yes, the bearing should just press / push into the nylon bearing carrier..

However, on the spur gear side, the flange sits proud of the bearing carrier.. (i.e., it does not push all of the way in..)

Cheers
