Nice collection of parts.... somehow the potential of a collection of parts is sometimes more mouthwatering & exciting, than the end result?!

Yeah i totally hear what your saying Dan :D , been getting the last few bits together for a while after buying a huge job lot of parts from lowry.

Ive got another RC10 that i have a few more bits to get before i start building and also a savage to sort out for when the weather gets nicer.

With the evenings getting lighter now, i may keep the RC10 till the autumn and just concentrate on running outdoors when i get chance.

I have however got quite a stash of XX and XXT parts now so i may have enough to build some other incarnation????

Exciting!!! Judging by the tyres this is gonna be a runner!? Good haul of parts, agreed Dan, having all those new parts displayed together feels special, almost more so than being on the car

Have you gone for the same tyres as I have on my G+? - I must admit the Vee4s are not great on grass - but it is a really nicely balanced truck on tarmac 8)

Yes Dan they are the same tyres as yours actually, they were an eBay purchase and only cost £10 plus p&p for the 2 pairs so a bargain! Fronts are yellows but the rears are blue, I have never run vee4 as I normally use yellow mini spikes on my T4. Thanks for the heads up I'm sure they will just be used for having a mess round on the Tarmac etc as they will be to hard for running indoors at club. But as I said paying a tenner for two pairs, you can't go wrong really :D

Actually got time to finish the truck, well finished apart from the shell! I have a duratrax truck shell that will go straight on there which i will use as a beater until i get the guts to paint this one as a XXT box art. My painting efforts normally go wrong, so i might just get someone else to do it for me!

Will get some electrics in it, then i just have to wait for our wonderful british weather to brighten up before i run it

Anyway here's some pics :D

If I had the time I could do that for you: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=19020

In fact, if you need the correct stickers for it LMK as a guy on here custom cut the white ones for me, and I have spare :D

If you had the time to do it Ben that would be awesome!

Not to fussed about it being smack on box art sticker wise really, i have a couple of sets of the G+ ones and some of the vinyl XXT pink stickers so should be able to get somewhere near, love the XXT box art but not so keen on the G+

Looks like a great truck, nice job.

Is that just an optical delusion or is that motor plate really bent?

What I meant was 'IF I had the time' which I am afraid I don't right now - 2 week old baby keeping me up day and night!

Sorry to be misleading there
